Synopsis
How well do you know theione you love?

Johnny Depp (Sleepy Hollow) and Charlize Theron (Devil's Advocate) star as courageous NASA astronaut Spencer Armacost and his beautiful, schoolteacher wife Jillian, a seemingly perfect couple whose lives are momentarily shattered when Spencer's mission mysteriously loses contact with Earth for 2 minutes. But neither Spencer nor Jillian know that those 120 seconds of terror will ultimately threaten their sanity, their future and their lives in this heart stopping psychological thriller the critics call "One scary edge-of-the-seat nightmare."

Rosemary's Baby redux! - 3 out of 5  (2/8/2000)
Probably the hardest part of this job is trying to find the brighter side of every movie. You know, I'm only half-kidding with that one. "The Astronaut's Wife" seems at times like someone stole   more >>

THE GIST: A NASA Astronaut loses contact with earth for two minutes while on a mission in outer space. When he comes back home to his loving wife, he just ain't right. MONEY SHOT: When the couple has sex at a dinner party. NICE INNOVATION: There is some nice editing done to build tension when Wifey is watching a video given to here from a suspicious scientist. Leads to the only scene that might make you jump a little. MVP: Charlize Throne, for being pretty enough to make this stinker ev   more >>

Astronaut Spencer Armacoust was on a mission when he suddenly lost contact. When he got home, to friends he was the same, but to his wife he was different. She becomes pregnant, but as time progresses she begins to feel like the lives inside of her are not of this world. The plot seems interesting huh? Yes,it is..But terrible acting and too much talking make this film terrible.. The only thing I kept looking foward to was the end of this film. The acting was poor, the story line and the direc   more >>
